Microdocumentary profiling Eugenia Mapendo's experience as a refugee from Rwanda navigating life in Trenton, New Jersey. Following her routine grocery shopping and cooking, the film captures her recounting her expectations for the United States and finding happiness from her children. Produced under the guidance of acclaimed documentarian Purcell Carson for a class at Princeton University. Filmed in Trenton, NJ.
